National Water Week - A Splash Away!πŸ’¦πŸ’¦πŸ’¦


Next week is National Water Week 

"National Water Week provides an opportunity to remind ourselves and teach others that access to clean water is hugely important to every aspect of our lives, and we must do our utmost to protect our water environments and resources, use water wisely and respect its importance in our societies."

~ 5 Water Saving Tips ~

1. Shower Bucket 

Whilst you're waiting for the water to heat, place a bucket over the drain. Reuse this water later for watering plants, animals, anything! 


2. Turn the tap off when brushing your teeth / washing your hands

3. Water outdoor plants in the early morning
The plants will need less water, as it's cooler in the morning, and there will be less evaporation too because of the cooler air!

4. Reuse Pasta Water! Instead of dumping the hot water reuse it! Let's ReThink about how we use our resources!

5. Two words: rain. tank. 
Save the precious rain as it can be great for plants and saves water!
